Booking your rental car in Bali has never been easier! Simply fill out the search form to choose your car and get started. No deposit or prepayment required – you only pay the rental fee upon receiving the keys. Whether you prefer to pay in cash or by card, we offer flexible payment options for your convenience.


🚗 Free Delivery to Your Location

We offer free car delivery to most locations across south Bali, including Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar, so you can start your adventure as soon as you arrive. No hidden fees, just great service.


📧 Booking Process – Simple and Transparent

  1. Fill Out the Reservation Form
    Once you’ve chosen your car, book your rental car online and we’ll contact you by email to confirm availability. If the car is available, we will request the following details to finalize your booking:

    • Valid driver’s license (International Driver’s Permit, ASEAN-issued license, or Indonesian SIM)

    • Flight details (for airport pickup or return) or your hotel name and address for delivery

Please note: Providing these details is essential to confirm your reservation.

  1. Booking Confirmation
    After receiving your details, we will send you a Booking Confirmation email with all your rental information, including the rental terms, rules, and insurance policies.


⚠️ Last Minute Reservations

For last-minute car rental bookings in Bali, we will still confirm availability via email. Please be aware that last-minute reservations may be subject to cancellation if our schedule is fully booked.

All rates include car hire rate with selected type of insurance, unlimited mileage, free pickup and drop off on airport or at your hotel [south Bali only], card processing fee and VAT. 

We deliver booked rental cars to the Ngurah Rai international airport or to your hotel around south of Bali without any additional fee. 

We do not serve walk-in rentals without prior confirmed  booking.

Hotel delivery will be served free of charge around south of Bali and only if our colleagues still have available schedule. 

The airport pick up is in form Meet and greet (we don’t have office on the airport). Meeting point is near Circle K, right ourside the international arrivals hall, near car pick up zone. Google maps with street view (PICK UP)

The airport return meeting point is near international departures drop off zone. It is the very first left turn after you enter airport premises that leads you to upper floor. Google maps with street view (RETURN)

Payment is done always only when you receive the car. You can pay in cash or by card. 

Car Rental Insurance Options – Drive with Confidence

At Driveinbali.com, your safety and peace of mind come first. All our rental vehicles come pre-insured with either Standard Insurance or Premium Insurance, providing essential protection during your journey. To further enhance your rental experience, we also offer an optional Zero Liability Coverage, also known as full insurance, collision damage waiver (CDW), or zero excess coverage.


✅ Standard Car Rental Insurance

Our Standard Insurance offers essential coverage for:

  • Damage to the rental vehicle

  • Third-party liability (TPL) – up to IDR 10,000,000 (~USD 650), medical expenses only

  • Natural disasters

  • Theft and vandalism

Excess fee: IDR 500,000 (~USD 35) per collision
Loss of use fee: Charged at daily rental rate if the vehicle is non-operational due to damage (max. IDR 7,500,000 / ~USD 500)
Total loss excess fee (vehicle theft or irreparable damage): IDR 20,000,000 (~USD 1,250)
➡ Police report required for claims

Note: Third-party liability (TPL) under Standard Insurance is limited to medical costs and requires both a police and hospital report.


🚘 Premium Car Rental Insurance

For more comprehensive protection, select vehicle with our Premium Insurance, which includes:

  • Full damage protection for the rented car

  • Expanded third-party liability up to IDR 50,000,000 (~USD 3,250)

  • Natural disaster coverage

  • Theft and vandalism coverage

Excess fee: IDR 300,000 (~USD 20) per collision
Loss of use fee: Same as above (max. IDR 7,500,000 / ~USD 500)
Total loss excess fee: IDR 20,000,000 (~USD 1,250)
➡ Requires police report and service center or hospital documentation for claims

🔒 Zero Liability Coverage – Full Peace of Mind

Add Zero Liability Coverage to eliminate any financial responsibility for:

  • Collision excess fees

  • Loss of use fees

  • Total loss excess fees

Also known as:

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

  • Zero Excess Insurance

  • Full Insurance

This coverage is available for:

  • All Premium-insured vehicles

  • Selected Standard-insured vehicles (excluding Toyota Agya and Toyota Avanza)

Important: While Zero Liability removes your out-of-pocket expenses for car damage or theft, it does not increase third-party liability (TPL) limits. TPL remains based on your base insurance (Standard or Premium).


🚫 Insurance Upgrade Policy

Please note that:

Standard Insurance cannot be upgraded to Premium Insurance after booking. Choose your desired protection level at the time of reservation.

  • One rental day means 24 hours of car hire.
  • The minimum rental period is 3 days.

Same to same – return the car with the same or simmilar level of fuel (standard insurance cars)

Full to full – just fill up the tank right before you return the car. Please mind that we will top up the fuel tank near our garage, thus cars delivered to remote areas will have slightly “less than full” fuel in tank (premium insurance cars).

Full to empty – receive full, return the car with [almost] empty fuel. On request only. 

How long does it take to get the booking confirmed?

Apart from online bookings we also do live bookings on phone, WhatsApp, email. Most of our cars are usually fully used. To determine the last minute booking or offer similar car might take up to one hour during the business hours. We are trying to avoid over booking.
