Seafood market in Jimbaran

When exploring Bali with a rented car, Jimbaran seafood market is a must. It is situated on the beach of Jimbaran bay, in small village of Kedonganan, just 5 minutes drive from airport in Kuta. A traditional fish market is located at the northern end of the bay right by the beach at the junction with Jalan Tukad Ayung. The catch comes in every morning here and customers include most of Bali’s fine dining restaurants. All manner of fish and shellfish are on available. Best to visit between 6AM-9AM, but you can buy the fish even after the sunset. You can get your purchases grilled at a grilling area in the market for a fee.

We recommend you to buy the fresh seafood of your choice and get it grilled in near warungs for very fair prices. The standard price is 15-25 thousand rupiah (1-1.5$) per kilogram and comes with rice, vegetables and spices included. So if you were wandering about where to go in Bali, the seafood market in Jimbaran is the place!

Selamat makan!
